Hi, I’m Aimee, your friendly neighbourhood Clinical Psychologist. I have a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with additional training in attachment-focused dynamic psychotherapy and relational psychodynamic therapy (the good stuff that gets to the heart of things and breaks you down before rebuilding you). I’m a Cancer but according to my patients I give “big Leo energy” so do with that what you will!

I work primarily in eating disorders and women’s mental health, and I’m passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, whether you’re navigating recovery, motherhood, fertility issues, pregnancy, identity, burnout, or just trying to hold it all together.

Right now, I’m in the same boat with a young baby, just trying to survive on very little sleep and a romantasy book always within reach (if I can keep my eyes open long enough to read it). I believe therapy should feel like a safe, human space where we can explore the messy, meaningful parts of life, with warmth, honesty, and a lot of dark humour.

If you’re looking for support that’s evidence-based, attachment-focused, and deeply human, I’d love to connect.

Areas of Interest:

Attachment-focused therapy

  • Women’s health, including PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fertility difficulties

  • Antenatal support

  • Perinatal support

  • Mood disorders

  • Eating disorders

  • Perfectionism

  • Affect State Therapy

  • Relational Psychodynamic Therapy

Aimee works on Thursdays and Monday mornings (from 13th April).

Aimee sees adolescents (14+) and adult clients.

Psychologist

Hi, I’m Tenneile. I’m a Registered Psychologist with more than a decade of experience supporting women through trauma, health challenges, workplace stress, and the complex transitions that shape our lives. My area of focus is working with women navigating injury or illness, WorkCover and return-to work pathways, first responders, professional women, working mothers, and women experiencing midlife and perimenopausal changes. I support those impacted by stress, burnout, mood changes, anxiety, and the emotional load alongside challenges such as bullying, conflict, or recovery from illness or injury.

My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based therapies (ACT, CBT, and trauma-informed care), and positive psychology models (strengths based, solution focussed, mindset coach) to offer a warm, human-first connection with practical take home strategies you can apply outside the therapy hour. Clients often describe me as grounding, easy to talk to, and deeply supportive, particularly when life or work has left them overwhelmed, unseen, or “emotionally concussed.”

My passion comes from lived experience too — returning to full-time work after having two boys, stepping into a demanding emergency-services role, supporting my husband after a workplace spinal injury, caring for ageing parents from afar, and doing my best to raise good, kind humans — have deepened my empathy and strengthened my commitment to helping women through life’s vulnerable, messy, and transformative chapters.

I’m also thrilled to be back home in Queensland (and proud to have won State of Origin in a household divided by my NSW-born husband!). My family is my world, and they remind me daily why supporting women matters.

In therapy, there’s no judgement—just honest conversations, practical help, and space to breathe. If you’re seeking clarity, calm, or steadiness, I’d be honoured to walk beside you.

Hi, I'm Madeleine, a generally registered Psychologist with previous experience working with young children, teenagers and families. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Masters of Professional Psychology. I have experience working with a number of neurodivergent youth and adults, and have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent young women, teens and girls. I strive to help all of my clients to develop a richer and deeper understanding of who they are, what they value and how to live the lives they aspire towards.

When I'm not on the netball court or dancing in my kitchen to Taylor Swift, I'm working with my clients to help them identify patterns of behaviour that are leaving them burnt out and disconnected. I take a client-centred approach and apply evidence-based intervention (CBT, ACT, and Attachment theory) to guide my clients to build skills, process their experiences and become confident navigators of their own lives. I strive to bring curiosity and compassion while helping my clients meaningfully progress towards their goals.

I am passionate about helping my clients find confidence, clarity and calm.

Areas of Interest:

  • Exploring Neurodivergence (recent diagnosis, unmasking, understanding unique needs and accommodations)

  • Anxiety (Social anxiety, General anxiety, separation anxiety, panic attacks, phobias)

  • Mood disorders

  • Transition periods (entering womanhood or adulthood, becoming a parent, entering or leaving the workforce)

  • Trauma

  • Stress management and emotion regulation

  • Family relationships (exploring previous dynamics, establishing boundaries and identifying patterns in relationships)

  • Identity exploration (gender, sexuality, religious deconstruction)

Madeleine also offers assessment services.

Madeleine works on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Hi, I am Kimberley. I am a Clinical Psychology Registrar who works with adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, and body image concerns. I have completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and am currently completing a PhD.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and relational, with an attachment-informed lens. I place strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and creating a warm, safe space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Sessions are collaborative and individualised, and we work together to understand not only symptoms, but also the patterns, experiences, and relationships that may be shaping them.

I take a holistic approach, considering the broader context of a person’s life, values, identity, relationships, and wellbeing. My aim is to support clients to develop self-understanding, self-compassion, and practical skills to move towards a more meaningful and sustainable way of living.

Areas of Interest:

Eating disorders and body image concerns - Disordered eating, binge/purge cycles, restrictive eating, body image distress, weight/shape overvaluation, and relationship-with-food concerns (using CBT-E and a HAES/weight-neutral approach).

Trauma and relational trauma - Childhood trauma, complex trauma, attachment wounds, hypervigilance, shame, emotional overwhelm, and the impact of trauma on relationships and self-worth.

Relationship and attachment patterns - Interpersonal difficulties, boundaries, conflict patterns, anxious/avoidant cycles, and building safer, more secure connection.

Emotion regulation and distress tolerance - Building coping skills for intense emotions, overwhelm, shutdown, and impulsive coping patterns.

Self-esteem and self-compassion - Harsh self-criticism, people-pleasing, comparison, guilt/shame, and strengthening a more stable sense of self.

Anxiety - Generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, perfectionism-driven anxiety, and chronic worry.

Mood difficulties - Low mood, loss of motivation, burnout, and stress-related depletion.

Kimberley works on Wednesdays.

Gold Coast Psychologist Hazel Turner

Clinical Psychology Registrar

Hi, I’m Hazel and I'm a Clinical Psychology Registrar with a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent women and adolescent girls, as well as individuals experiencing anxiety-related difficulties. I have lived experience of neurodivergence, alongside additional training in neuro-affirming practice, which helps me bring both personal understanding and clinical expertise to the work.

Many of the clients I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like they’ve had to mask parts of themselves just to cope. I offer a warm, neuro-affirming space where we can make sense of what’s been going on, build practical strategies that are tailored to you and your personal goals, and move toward a life that feels more manageable, authentic, and sustainable.

Alongside neurodivergence, I have a strong interest in the complexities that often accompany it including anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma experiences, emotional dysregulation, and burnout. I also enjoy working with anxiety disorders in all their forms, from chronic worry and panic to social anxiety, phobias, and obsessive compulsive presentations.
