Unfortunately nobody likes to pay cancellation fees but they exist so that we can continue to operate as business overheads still need to paid whether a client attends or not.
Cancellations on same day of appointment or no-show = 100% of the full fee.
If the appointment can be filled, you will not be charged. In a ‘medical emergency’ the cancellation fee will not apply if you can provide written evidence from your medical practitioner. For Medicare psychology services, a Medicare rebate cannot be used to cover a cancelled consultation.
If a late cancellation/ no-show fee applies it must be paid on the day of the scheduled appointment and before rebooking future appointments.
